JOB OPPORTUNITY
The Independence City Church of Christ is accepting applications for a full-time or part-time minister. We are a congregation of approximately 100 members located in the municipality of Portmore, Jamaica. Portmore has a growing population of over 200,000 and is the largest residential area in the English-speaking Caribbean.
The ideal candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of the scriptures and uphold Biblical Truths. A graduate of a reputable school of preaching or Christian college of the Church of Christ is preferred but not necessary. The candidate should also have at least 5 years’ experience in Ministry with or without formal training. Besides preaching and teaching the minister will be responsible for the evangelism program and to generally equip the congregation to evangelize the community. He should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with all ages.
We have the potential for tremendous growth and seek to identify a mature, motivated and dynamic leader who will steer the congregation to achieving spiritual and numerical growth.
